Appearance, Traits + Disadvantages

    A sun elf by birth, Gildas lacks a slight amount of the classic sun elf bronze tan due to time spent in his study and research. He is sometimes obsessive with projects such as his bow, or his preoccupation with gathering the sum of all arcane practical knowledge, however trivial. He is also highly interested in the study of former empire of the Netheril. Both its history of magic and its close geographic proximity lend themselves to the pursuit. He has learned both of the historic languages, as well as the modern Halruaan dialect.

History

    Gildas has spent most of his life after childhood in his own version of the study of arcana. Real battlefield experience or distant, longterm travel will be something new.

    In an odd twist of the classic wizard, Gildas has aquired a strong faith in the patron of the elves, Corellon Larethian. While he has never desired to take up the mantle of clerical office, Gildas believes strongly in the goodness and freedom eximplified by his god.

Goals

    Learn all practical arcane knowledge possible. (Leaving esoteric knowledge to others) Learn about the Netheril. Leave a trail of chaos and panic among those who align themselves against Corellon Larethian.
